
The first essay can be scary, to say the least. It may be 1550-2500 thousand words, relatively short but nevertheless tough in your first year.
Your course and your school will provide guidance as part of the curriculum or on their website. Take the time to use and consult the information. It is also helpful to keep such guidance to hand as you prepare and write your essay. It is a benefit to have such guidance at hand if you nerves are getting the better of you! Taking time to regroup is always important if you feel that you are encountering difficulties. Clarifying what is actually required for writing your essay can be helpful for regaining focus and confidence.
